The machine casting is designed using the ANSYS software system, which provides ribbing that makes the machine possess proper ties of high rigidity. The material is high-density cast iron, which provides high strength and vibration dampening capacity.
The spindle is of advanced international design, with short wide shape. The spindle unit is integrated to the machine base during the design process, which provides greater rigidity to the spindle. This series of CNC vertical lathe can also optionally incorporate the C-axis function, and a powered turret with live tooling to create a vertical machining center. Thus it can perform such operations as drilling, milling, tapping, among others. Both X and Y axes are servo-driven with direct coupling of the motors to ball screws by means of flexible couplings. The turrets are available in various configurations, according to the needs of the customer. The machine work-area is fully enclosed, and can also be fitted with automatic doors as for an automated production line. The hydraulic station has new-style mini digital pressure regulators for more accurate control of this function. The electrical cabinet is a fully enclosed structure, and is equipped with an air conditioning unit both to cool the interior and also to prevent dust from entering.
